My girlfriend and I stayed at the Beachfront Inn with my two daughter’s (9&12), from Aug 11th-15th. We were scheduled to check out on the 14th but decided to stay another night, luckily they had another room available. The staff there really makes you feel at home. They are so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. The extra day we stayed we had to switch rooms, ours was booked, but they moved all of our stuff to our new room so we could venture out. The rooms are very nice and clean, but a little noisy. They have a bonfire every night (depending on the weather), you can buy a bag with stuff to make smores and they provide roasting sticks for your use. There is also a cool second floor deck that is beautiful to watch the sunset if you don’t like to sit by a bonfire. They have two paddle boards you can use for free. The beach is very clean and the sand is very soft. It is a little rocky when you first walk in the water but then it is very nice sand and the kids enjoyed looking for little rocks for souvenirs. The pool was also nice and was warm, which was great on one of our colder days. They also had floaties to us while at the pool (which we actually left our purple raft there for future guests!) They have towels to use for the pool and beach and they are nice and large. We are already planning our return trip for next year! It is centrally located, so Fish Harbor, Sister Bay, Egg Harbor, Whitefish Dunes, Ephraim, are all 15-20 mins away. So happy we picked this place and had a great vacation because of this place.
My husband and I had a FANTASTIC stay at the Beachfront Inn in Baileys Harbor! I was absolutely blown away by how clean and beautiful our beachfront room was! I was not expecting it to be as wonderful as it was because we booked it on a last minute whim and I was just absolutely THRILLED when we arrived! The hotel is right on the water and within walking distance from everything you need in downtown Baileys Harbor…great restaurants, bars, breweries, breakfast nooks, a gas station, a beach, little shops…everything a quaint, small town would have to offer! The hotel itself is RIGHT ON a little beach and has an adorable little patio perfect for morning coffee and also boasts a great outdoor campfire spot for the evenings. They even had some outdoor games we could play! The pool is perfect if you’re not ready to take a dip in Lake Michigan, but if so, they even had some paddle boards set out for guests to use. The hosts were wonderful and beyond kind. This could NOT have been any better! This will be my first and ONLY choice every time we head to Northern Door County from now on! What a find!
“Beachfront Inn was so comfortable. The place was simply beautiful. I am gonna go again in the summer. They have a very nice beach and they do bonfires every night. The hosts are really good and were very accommodating with our requests.”
“Baileys Harbor has one of the most beautiful shorelines in Door County, and this Inn takes full advantage of their wonderful location right on the water. Others have lauded the wonderful experience the Inn offers for pet owners & I concur with them, but it is also a lovely Inn independent of that. Our room was elegantly simple – done in colors of sea & sand, the abundant adirondack chairs and gliders on the lawn facing the beach were always available, and kayaks are available right off the hotel beach. So sad we only had one night there – will definitely return!”
“Went in May for our official vacation. We stay here anytime we are in door county unless they are booked. Owners are the best! The location is perfect, the views are amazing, great amenities, very clean rooms, always quiet and relaxing! They have great specials! When we were there the owners gave us some great added bonuses. We love this place and I recommend to everyone to stay there, but remember it’s not a chain hotel. To me, it’s better!! Don’t let the look of it fool you. The saying don’t judge a book by its cover definitely applies to this gem of a place!!”
“Super time at the Beachfront Inn. The little things like the beach bonfire each night and the plentiful breakfast adds that homey touch to this family-owned motel. It’s the personal touch that you don’t get when staying in chain motels.”
