ROCK ISLAND STATE PARK
Rock Island State Park – is a 906 acre island located one mile northeast of Jackson Harbor on Washington Island, Wisconsin. Hiking, camping, swimming and fishing are available as well as ten miles of hiking trails.

THE RIDGES SANCTUARY
“The Ridges Sanctuary is a 1,400 acre pristine natural area located in Door County, Wisconsin. Formed in 1937, it is the oldest nonprofit nature preserve in the state. The Ridges is also designated as a State Natural Area and a National Natural Landmark. The Sanctuary is open to the public year-round, and features native wildflowers along its five miles of rustic trails and bridges. Naturalist-led tours, youth and family programs, and a weekly lecture series highlight the summer season. Snowshoe hikes and family programs are featured during January, February and March. The Nature Store, featuring a wide variety of quality nature-related books and gifts, is open mid-May through mid-October. TOFT POINT
“Located on the eastern edge of the Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor, Toft point, 633 acres, is brimming with wilderness and a shoreline just waiting to be discovered. Toft Point has 2.5miles of secluded and undeveloped Lake Michigan shoreline. There are also hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, great places to picnic, rocky shoreline, and wonderful views.
