Dog Friendly Door County Lodging - The Beachfront Inn

My name is Reggie, I'm 9 years old and I am the principal greeter at The Beachfront Inn, a Door County dog friendly hotel in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. Just to give you a little background, I am a Springer Spaniel originally from Albert Lea, MN. In the fall of 2008 I was dropped off on the side of a road and a wonderful woman named Etta took me in to live with her. The owners of this dog friendly Door County hotel, the Borks, saw my picture, quite handsome as you can see, on a rescue website. They decided to come and see me and many other dogs in March of 2009 and I knew these were my forever parents. Tammy was a pushover so I decided to win over Terry by sitting on his feet so he couldn't move and had to pet me! I then looked up at him and put my head on his legs, he was a goner!

They brought me to my new home, the Beachfront Inn in Baileys Harbor that weekend and I was thrilled! I had my own dog friendly office and Door County beach! I became the guest greeter which assured me of lots of petting and treats. I spend most of my days lazing around the Beachfront Inn's office chewing my bones and waiting for more attention. When the weather is warm, I take guest dogs on tours of the outdoors and even play with them on the beach! Every night my parents start a big bonfire on the beach and I am allowed to go and beg for marshmallows! I adore this part of my job description. My other favorite activity is going for rides in my parents' vehicles. What a life!!!!
